In my thesis, I investigate the mobility of past populations during the La Tène period by utilizing advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques. The core of the research focuses on interpreting population movements based on stable strontium isotope analysis. By employing these analytical methods, I aim to enhance the understanding of human migration patterns in this historical period and assess how machine learning can improve the accuracy and depth of provenance interpretation. Part of the thesis involves the development of a statistical model to determine locally bioavailable strontium. Keywords: migrations; stable isotopes; La Tène period, data analyses, machine learning
