This bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of modern technologies in teaching at the lower secondary level of primary schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and research part. The theoretical section introduces selected technologies- artificial intelligence, chatbots, and virtual/augmented reality-along with their benefits, risks, and the conditions necessary for their implementation in the educational process. The research is based on quantitative research and uses a questionnaire survey to explore teachers' attitudes toward these technologies, the extent of their use in teaching, and the factors that influence their broader adoption. The results show that although teachers generally view modern technologies positively, their effective implementation is hindered by several barriers- particularly the lack of training, funding, and technical support. Based on the findings, specific recommendations are proposed for the more effective integration of technologies into the educational system.
