Abstract

The motivation of general nurses to participate on clinical practice education of nursing students is an important aspect of the quality of practical education in a clinical environment. Nurses that lead students in the clinical practice might have a large influence of the students' subsequent work with their approach and actions, influence their subsequent performance, and might have an influence on whether the students eventually decide for a career of a general nurse. Therefore, it is important to focus on the role of general nurses as mentors for students comprehensively and pay attention to it. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse the factors that influence the motivation of nurses and subsequently evaluate the importance of external and internal motivators that affect the willingness of nurses to work with students. Finally, to propose recommendations leading to improvement of the situation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. Motivace všeobecných sester k výuce studentů ošetřovatelství představuje důležitý aspekt kvality praktické výuky v klinickém prostředí. Sestry svým přístupem a jednáním studenty formují, ovlivňují jejich následné působení a často jsou to ony, které mají vliv na to, zda vůbec do praxe nastoupí. Proto je důležité pohlížet na tuto problematiku komplexně a věnovat jí pozornost. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat faktory, které motivaci sester ovlivňují a následně zhodnotit význam vnějších i vnitřních motivátorů, které působí na ochotu sester se studenty pracovat. V neposlední řadě navrhnout doporučení vedoucí ke zlepšení situace. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část práce stručně definuje profesi všeobecné sestry, popisuje její kompetence a dovednosti, představuje aktuální legislativní rámec vzdělávání. V dalších kapitolách se práce věnuje motivaci obecně, popisuje a vymezuje vnitřní i vnější faktory. Okrajově se dotýká i motivačních teorií. Důležité je představení mentora a mentoringu, jeho role v ošetřovatelství a možnosti získání certifikovaného kurzu.
