Abstract

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Jan Terber Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Jeníček, Ph.D. Title: Dry Needling with Electrical Stimulation in Physical Therapy Abstract: Dry needling with electrical stimulation (DNES) is an innovative therapeutic modality in physical therapy that combines the principles of dry needling with the effects of electrical current. This bachelor's thesis explores this topic in a research-based format, trying to provide a comprehensive overview of issues related to DNES. The overview of the issue provides information on historical development, theoretical background and mechanisms of action. Indications, contraindications, and safety issues are also discussed. In particular, the text focuses on its use in diagnoses addressed in physical therapy, including a specific description of the practical implementation of the therapy. The main objec- tive was to review clinical studies that evaluate the effectiveness of this intervention compared with placebo or other therapeutic methods. Jakub Jeníček, Ph.D. Název bakalářské práce: Elektrostimulace pomocí suché jehly ve fyzioterapii Abstrakt bakalářské práce: Elektrostimulace pomocí suché jehly (DNES) je inovativní terapeutická modalita ve fy- zioterapii, která kombinuje principy suché jehly a účinky elektrického proudu. Tato bakalářská práce zpracovává téma rešeršní formou, snaží se poskytnout komplexní přehled problematiky týkající se DNES. Přehled problematiky podává informace o historickém vývoji, teoretických východis- cích a mechanismech účinku. Dále jsou zde zmíněny indikace, kontraindikace a otázka bezpeč- nosti. Text se zaměřuje zejména na její využití u diagnóz řešených ve fyzioterapii včetně kon- krétního popisu praktického provedení terapie. Hlavním cílem bylo vypracování přehledu klinických studií, které hodnotí účinnost této intervence ve srovnání s placebem nebo jinými terapeutickými metodami. Celkem jednadvacet klinických studií bylo rozděleno do jednotlivých skupin podle te- rapeutické intervence v kontrolní skupině - srovnání s placebem (osm studií), srovnání s fyzi- oterapií nebo cvičením (pět studií), srovnání se suchou jehlou (dvě studie), s transkutánní elek- trickou nervovou stimulací (tři studie) a srovnání s jinými přístupy (tři studie)....
