Abstract

The bachelor's thesis compares the health and social systems of the Czech Republic and Norway in the context of demographic changes associated with population ageing. In the theoretical part, I present the main aspects of population ageing and discuss the health and social care systems in the Czech Republic and Norway. I introduce the reader to the functioning of the health and social care systems in two different European countries, explaining their strengths and weaknesses and pointing out areas that need to be developed and streamlined. The practical part focuses on qualitative research, carried out in the form of a comparative analysis of documents from both countries. The work aims to identify differences and similarities between the Czech and Norwegian health and social care systems aimed at the elderly. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na komparaci zdravotnického a sociálního systému České republiky a Norska v souvislosti s demografickými změnami spojenými se stárnutím obyvatelstva. V teoretické části představuji hlavní aspekty, které stárnutí populace přináší, a zabývám se systémy zdravotní a sociální péče v České republice a Norsku. Seznamuji čtenáře s fungováním zdravotně- sociálních systémů ve dvou odlišných evropských státech, objasňuji jejich silné a slabé stránky a poukazuji na oblasti, které je třeba rozvíjet a zefektivnit. Praktická část je zaměřena na kvalitativní výzkum, realizovaný formou komparativní analýzy dokumentů z obou zemí. Cílem práce je identifikovat rozdíly a podobnosti mezi českým a norským zdravotně-sociálním systémem zaměřeným na seniory.
