Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou obchodu s akademickými pracemi na zakázku, tedy ghostwritingem, v Česku. Bodem zájmu jsou především závěrečné práce, jako bakalářské nebo diplomové. Psaní závěrečné práce pojímám jako přechodový rituál na cestě k titulu a nové roli ve společnosti. Samotný výzkum je zaměřený převážně na ghostwritery a jejich zkušenosti v rámci tohoto odvětví. Zabývat se budu jejich motivacemi, komunikací s klienty, nebo také faktory jako je vedení akademických prací, vliv ghostwritingu na univerzity, hodnotu tradiční závěrečné práce, a další. This thesis explores the issue of commissioned academic writing, also known as ghostwriting, in the Czech Republic. The main focus is on qualification theses, such as bachelor's and master's theses. I approach the writing of a qualification thesis as a rite of passage on the journey toward obtaining a degree and assuming a new social role. The research itself is primarily focused on ghostwriters and their experiences within this field. I will examine their motivations, communication with clients, and factors such as thesis supervision, the impact of ghostwriting on universities, the value of traditional qualification theses, and more.
