Abstract

The topic of this diploma thesis is the education of healthcare personnel, more specifically, the deepening of vocational qualification of radiology assistants. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is an overview of theoretical knowledge which is essential for understanding the issue. It is divided into several sections which describe the system of undergraduate and postgraduate education of radiology assistants and the legislation related to the profession. The first part also describes personal development planning and career planning for employees, systematization of work positions in the organization, management and risk prevention in organization's personnel department. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part. The thesis is a case study dealing with a selected group of healthcare personnel. A qualitative research was chosen to clarify the context, interviews with the selected group of respondents served as the source of data. The group of respondents consists of management and radiology assistants from specific organization. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether radiology assistants perceive their narrow specialization as an advantage or disadvantage and how management of the organization which employs them deals with this topic. Tématem této diplomové práce je problematika vzdělávání zdravotnického personálu, konkrétně prohlubování profesní kvalifikace radiologických asistentů. Je strukturována do dvou hlavních částí, a to teoretické a praktické. První část poskytuje souhrnný přehled teoretických poznatků potřebných pro pochopení uvedené problematiky. Je dělena do několika dílčích celků, ve kterých je popsán systém pregraduálního a postgraduálního vzdělávání radiologických asistentů a legislativa související s výkonem této profese. Další část se zabývá plánováním osobního rozvoje a kariérním plánem zaměstnanců, systemizací pracovních míst v organizaci, řízením a prevencí rizik v její personální oblasti. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická (empirická). Téma mé diplomové práce je pojato jako studie vybrané skupiny zdravotnického personálu. Jako metoda k objasnění souvislostí jevů je zvolen kvalitativní výzkum, jehož zdrojem dat se staly rozhovory s vybranou skupinou respondentů. Cílová skupina obsahuje respondenty z řad managementu a radiologických asistentů z konkrétní organizace. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda radiologičtí asistenti vnímají úzkou profesní specializaci jako výhodu, či nevýhodu ve svém profesním životě a jak se k této problematice staví management organizace, která je zaměstnává.
