Role zpravodajských agentur při vytváření zpravodajské agendy ve vybraných českých denících

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem zpravodajských agentur na utváření zpravodajské agendy ve vybraných českých denících. Předmětem zkoumání je agenda ČTK, konkrétně to, jak se promítá do agendy zpravodajských médií a jakou roli hraje v procesu utváření zpravodajské agendy. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje především na to, jakým způsobem zpravodajská agentura ČTK ovlivňuje obsah českých zpravodajských novin - Lidových novin, Práva, Hospodářských novin a MF Dnes. Teoretická část práce se věnuje konceptům agenda-settingu a gatekeepingu, historii a funkci zpravodajských agentur a jejich vlivu na mediální prostředí. Praktická část zahrnuje kvantitativní obsahovou analýzu článků z vybraných vydání jednotlivých deníků. Výzkum spočívá v analýze článků z jednotlivých vydání zmiňovaných novin v daném časovém období a jejich následné komparaci s původní zprávou z Infobanky ČTK. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že zpravodajská agentura ČTK má významný vliv na obsah českých deníků, ale ne dominantní. Převzaté články jsou však ve většině případů zveřejňovány v takové podobě, jakou jim přiřkla ČTK. Nejsou tedy nijak upravovány a převládá tzv. metoda rip and read, která implikuje, že v případech, kdy média ze zpravodajství ČTK čerpají, přenechávají roli nastolování agendy agentuře ČTK. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of news agencies on the shaping of the news agenda in selected Czech daily newspapers. The subject of investigation is the agenda of ČTK, specifically how it is reflected in the agenda of the news media and what role it plays in the process of shaping the news agenda. The diploma thesis focuses primarily on how the ČTK news agency influences the content of the Czech newspapers - Lidové noviny, Právo, Hospodářské noviny and MF Dnes. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the concepts of agenda-setting and gatekeeping, the history and function of news agencies and their influence on the media environment. The practical part includes a quantitative content analysis of articles from selected editions of individual newspapers. The research consists of the analysis of articles from individual editions of the mentioned newspapers in the given time period and their subsequent comparison with the original report from Infobanka ČTK. The research results show that the news agency ČTK has a significant influence on the content of Czech daily newspapers, but not a dominant one.
