Motivace seniorů ke vzdělávání na Virtuální Univerzitě třetího věku

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací seniorů k účasti na vzdělávání. Cílem práce je identifikovat motivaci seniorů ke studiu na Virtuální Univerzitě třetího věku. Práce se nejprve zaměřuje na vymezení stárnutí a stáří, na periodizaci stáří a na označení pro starší osoby. Dále se práce soustředí na význam vzdělávání v životě seniorů a jaká jsou specifika této věkové skupiny. Následně je pozornost věnována motivaci seniorů ke vzdělávání a bariérám ve vzdělávacích aktivitách. Práce se rovněž soustředí na institucionální vzdělávání seniorů s důrazem na Virtuální Univerzitu třetího věku. Cílem kvalitativního empirického šetření je zjistit, jaká je motivace seniorů ke vzdělávání na Virtuální Univerzitě třetího věku ve Veselí nad Lužnicí. Od ledna do dubna roku 2024 se zde uskutečnil první semestr VU3V. Metodou šetření byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor. The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation of the elderly to participate in education. The thesis aims to identify the motivation of the elderly to study at the Virtual University of the Third Age. The work first focuses on defining aging and old age, the periodization of old age, and terms for older people. It will also discuss the importance of education in the lives of the elderly and the specifics of education for this age group. Subsequently, attention will be paid to the motivation of the elderly for education and the barriers to educational activities. The work will also focus on institutional education for the elderly emphasizing the Virtual University of the Third Age. The qualitative empirical survey aims to find out what motivates the elderly to study at the Virtual University of the Third Age in Veselí nad Lužnicí. The first semester of VU3V will occur there from January to April 2024. The research method was a semi-structured interview.
