Existencialistická úzkost ve filmech Jeana-Luca Godarda a Agnès Vardy

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se bude zabývat interpretací existencialistické úzkosti ve dvou filmech francouzské Nové vlny: U konce s dechem (natočený Jeanem-Lucem Godardem) a Cléo od 5 do 7 (zfilmovaný Agnès Vardou). Cílem bude analyzovat a porovnat zachycení základních existencialistických kategorií definovaných Jeanem-Paulem Sartrem (filozofické pojetí lásky, svobody a smrti) v těchto filmech. Věnovat se budeme i formálně-technickým stránkám obou filmů a jejich produkce, opět ve vztahu k jejich existencialistickému poselství. This bachelor thesis focuses on the interpretation of existentialist anxiety in the films of the French New Wave; Breathless by Jean-Luc Godard and Cléo from 5 to 7 by Agnès Varda. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and compare the depiction of Jean-Paul Sartre's existentialist anxiety, his philosophy of love, freedom, and death in these films and to compare the cinematic production of each film and its production.
