Nevyslovitelnost ve Wittgensteinově Tractatu

Abstract

Témou tejto práce je analýza nevysloviteľnosti vo Wittgensteinovom Tractate. Na jednej strane je skúmaný vzťah nevysloviteľnosti k otázke vzťahu medzi jazykom a svetom, ktorý zakladá identickosť ich logickej formy. V práci sú tak predstavené filozofické dôvody, ktoré Wittgensteina k zavedeniu nevysloviteľnosti viedli, či už priame, vychádzajúc z jeho sémantiky, alebo nepriame, ako riešenie logicko-sémantických paradoxov. Zároveň sú zmapované dôsledky, ktoré nevysloviteľnosť logickej formy má na povahu filozofie ako takej a na jej expresívne možnosti. V tomto kontexte je objasnená aj samotná paradoxnosť Wittgensteinovho vyslovenia nevysloviteľnosti.

The topic of this thesis is the analysis of inexpressibility in Wittgenstein's Tractatus. On the one hand, I examine the relation of inexpressibility to the question of the relation between language and the world, which is established by the identity of their logical form. The thesis thus presents the philosophical reasons that led Wittgenstein to introduce inexpressibility, whether direct, based on his semantics, or indirect, as a solution to logico-semantic paradoxes. At the same time, the consequences that the inexpressibility of logical form has on the nature of philosophy as such and on its expressive possibilities are examined. In this context, the paradoxicality of Wittgenstein's articulation of inexpressibility is also elucidated.
