Historický atlas bitvy u Kresčaku

Abstract

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit historický atlas bitvy u Kresčaku na základě knihy The Battle of Crécy: A Casebook (DeVries, Livingston 2015). V teoretické části jsou nejdříve přiblíženy koncepty práce s prameny v historické geografii a základní pojmy, které se vážou k rekonstrukčním mapám bitev. Formou literární rešerše jsou přiblíženy historické události a kontext stoleté války, stejně tak jako aktéři bitvy. Dále je představen stručný průběh bitvy u Kresčaku. V praktické části jsou analyzovány staré mapy, na kterých se poprvé objevuje bitva u Kresčaku. Finálním výstupem práce je tištěný historický atlas bitvy u Kresčaku, který čtenáři přináší shrnutí kontextu stoleté války a průběhu bitvy na nové lokaci bojiště. The aim of this work is to create a historical atlas of the Battle of Crécy based on the book The Battle of Crécy: A Casebook (DeVries, Livingston 2015). In the theoretical part are at first introduced concepts of working with sources in historical geography and the basic terms related to reconstruction maps of battles. A literature review presents the historical events and context of the Hundred Years' War, as well as the key actors in the battle. A brief overview of the Battle of Crécy is also provided. The practical part analyzes old maps where the Battle of Crécy first appears. The final output of the work is a printed historical atlas of the Battle of Crécy, offering readers a summary of the context of the Hundred Years' War and the course of the battle at the new location of the battlefield.
