Dokumentární fotografie: Integrace Kurdů do české společnosti

Abstract

Tato praktická bakalářská práce se věnuje integraci kurdské menšiny do české společnosti. Hlavním cílem bylo vytvořit fotografický dokument, který představuje několik příběhů Kurdů žijících v České republice. Fotokniha Čeští Kurdové poukazuje na odlišnosti a podobnosti mezi jednotlivými příslušníky tohoto etnika a zkoumá jejich propojení s kurdskou kulturou. Praktická část je doplněna teoretickým základem, který se věnuje dokumentŕaní fotografii pohledem tří vybraných osobností. Jednotlivé úvahy jsou čerpány z dvou autorských rozhovorů a odborné literatury. Teoretická část práce poskytuje především vhled do problematiky fotografování cizích kultur. Na závěr nastoluje konkrétní etické aspekty, nad kterými by měl fotograf při své práci uvažovat a propojuje tak obě části bakalářské práce.

This practical bachelor's thesis focuses on the integration of the Kurdish minority into Czech society. The main aim was to create a photographic documentary that presents several stories of Kurds living in the Czech Republic. The photobook Czech Kurds highlights the differences and similarities between members of this ethnic group and explores their connection to Kurdish culture. The practical part is complemented by a theoretical basis that focuses on documentary photography through the eyes of three selected personalities. The individual reflections are drawn from two author interviews and specialized literature. The theoretical part of the thesis mainly provides insight into the issues of photographing foreign cultures. It concludes by outlining specific ethical aspects that a photographer should consider in his/her work, thus linking the two parts of the bachelor thesis.
