Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: Malý Princ - česká recepce díla a srovnání českých překladů

Abstract

První část této práce představuje životopis francouzského spisovatele Antoina de Saint-Exupéryho a jeho tvorbu. Následně blíže zkoumá dílo Malého prince a jeho přijetí v kontextu světové literatury. Podrobněji se zaměřuje na českou recepci a představuje přehled vydávání tohoto díla v českých nakladatelstvích, a to konkrétně před uvolněním autorské licence a po něm. Druhou část práce tvoří srovnávací analýza originálu a překladů vybraných kapitol. Zde se konkrétně zaměřuje na charakteristické prvky díla a na zvolených ukázkách zkoumá přístup jednotlivých překladatelů s cílem stanovit celkovou překladatelskou strategii. The first part of this thesis presents the biography of the French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his works. It then examines in detail the work of The Little Prince and its reception in the context of world literature. It focuses in more detail on the Czech reception and presents an overview of the publication of this work in Czech publishing houses, specifically before and after it entered into public domain. The second part of the work consists of a comparative analysis of the original and translations of selected chapters. Here, it specifically focuses on the characteristic elements of the work and examines the approach of individual translators on selected examples in order to determine the overall translation strategy.
