Trajektorie osvojování a užívání jazyka českých Neslyšících ve věkové kategorii 50+

Abstract

Cílem práce je na základě analýzy jazykověbiografických a následných rozhovorů se šesti neslyšícími staršími padesáti let popsat jejich trajektorie osvojování a užívání jazyků (dále jazykové trajektorie) a na tomto základě vytvořit jazykovou trajektorii neslyšících druhé generace starších padesáti let, kteří mají neslyšící rodiče. V 1. kapitole je podán stručný výklad o komunitě českých neslyšících, zaměřený především na momenty relevantní pro výzkum trajektorií osvojování a užívání jazyků. Ve 2. kapitole je představen teoreticko-metodologický rámec práce, tj. teorie životních drah a teorie jazykového managementu a metody jazykověbiografického a follow-up rozhovoru. Ve 3. kapitole je nejprve popsán vzorek a způsob jeho sběru. Poté jsou pomocí ukázek z jazykověbiografických nebo následných rozhovorů popsány jazykové trajektorie všech šesti respondentů, vytvořena typická jazyková trajektorie příslušníků této generace a stručně analyzovány jazykové postoje respondentů. Ve 4. závěrečné kapitole jsou shrnuta hlavní zjištění práce, popsána její omezení a naznačena témata, na která by se mohl zaměřit případný další výzkum. Hlavním zjištěním je, že pro osvojování a užívání češtiny a postoje k češtině a českému znakovému jazyku byly klíčovým tranzicemi vstup do pracovního života a narození neslyšícího dítěte.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the trajectories of language acquisition and use (hereafter referred to as language trajectories) of six deaf people over the age of fifty, whose parents are also deaf, and to create a generalized language trajectory of this group based on the analysis of language biography and follow-up interviews. In chapter 1, a brief account of the Czech deaf community is given, focusing mainly on moments relevant to the research on trajectories of language acquisition and use. Chapter 2 presents the theoretical and methodological framework of the thesis, i.e., life course theory and language management theory, and the methods of language biography and follow-up interviews. Chapter 3 first describes the sample and the data collection methods. Then, using examples from the language biography or follow-up interviews, the language trajectories of all six respondents are described, a language trajectory of members of this generation is established, and the respondents' language attitudes are briefly analyzed. Chapter 4, the final chapter, summarizes the main findings of the thesis, describes its limitations, and suggests topics that could be the focus of possible future research.
