Glosáře: důležitá součást tlumočnické přípravy

Abstract

Tato teoreticko-empirická diplomová práce se zabývá přípravou tlumočníků na tlumočení a glosáři jakožto výstupy tlumočnické přípravy. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaké jsou postupy tlumočníků při přípravě a tvorbě glosářů a porovnat je s postupy studentů při přípravě na semináře tlumočení. Teoretická část se věnuje klasifikaci přípravy na základě faktoru času a předmětu přípravy, popisu tlumočnických glosářů a studentských glosářů vytvářených v rámci atestace na Ústavu translatologie. Dále také obsahuje názorný popis základních funkcí vybraných softwarů pro tvorbu glosářů a tlumočnickou přípravu (CAI nástroje). V závěru teoretické části jsou uvedeny poznatky a výsledky empirických prací na téma přípravy a glosářů. V empirické části prezentujeme výsledky smíšeného výzkumu vykonaného formou dvou dotazníkových šetřeních, která byla provedena na českých a zahraničních tlumočnících a na studentech Ústavu translatologie a studentech zahraničních univerzit. Bylo zjištěno, jaká je podoba a obsah tlumočnických glosářů, jaké podklady získávají od klientů pro přípravu a jaké další zdroje k přípravě využívají. Z výsledků vyplývá, že studenti pro přípravu méně využívají tištěné zdroje, jako jsou slovníky a encyklopedie, zato více elektronické nástroje, např. online slovníky a ChatGPT, než profesionální tlumočníci. This theoretical-empirical master's thesis deals with the preparation of interpreters for interpreting assignments, and glossaries as the outputs of the interpreter preparation. The objective was to discover what techniques interpreters use to prepare themselves and create glossaries, and also to compare these techniques with those of students preparing for interpreting seminars. The theoretical part focuses on the classification of preparation, the description of interpreter glossaries, and student glossaries created as part of the examination requirements at the Institute of Translation Studies in Prague. It also includes an illustrative description of the basic functions of selected software applications for creating glossaries, otherwise known as computer-assisted interpreting tools (CAI tools). The theoretical part concludes with findings and results of empirical studies on interpreter preparation and glossaries.
