Ruská filmonyma v českém a anglickém překladu

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá ruskými filmovými názvy, takzvanými filmonymy, a jejich překladem do českého a anglického jazyka. Zkoumá, jakou úlohu plní název v kontextu dílu, jak na tento fenomén nahlíží obor translatologie, a především jakými metodami jsou překládány ruské názvy a jaké jsou tendence, specifika a rozdíly v cílových jazycích při překladu těchto názvů. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části - teoretickou a analytickou. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem titul, je představena jeho podstata v kontextu díla a taktéž nahlížení na tuto jednotku perspektivou translatologie. Dále jsou představeny různé druhy typologie titulu v rámci zvolených jazykových areálů - ruského, českého a anglojazyčného. Dále je věnován prostor ruské filmové onomastice, přičemž je také poukázáno na specifika ruských filmových názvů a jak k těmto specifikům přistupují zvolené cílové distribuce při překladu. Základ analytické části tvoří především srovnávací analýza přeložených filmových titulů z různých hledisek. Analýza je prováděna v obecné rovině, z diachronního pohledu, napříč konkrétními filmovými žánry a doplňkově také v oblasti seriálové tvorby. This thesis deals with Russian film titles, so-called filmonyms, and their translation into Czech and English. It examines what role the title plays in the context of the work, how translatology views this phenomenon, and above all, what methods are used to translate Russian titles and what are the tendencies, specifics and differences in the target languages when translating these titles. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and analytical. In the theoretical part, the concept of title is defined, its essence in the context of the work is presented, as well as perception of this unit through the perspective of translatology. Furthermore, different types of typology of the title within the chosen language areas - Russian, Czech and English - are presented. Furthermore, space is devoted to Russian film onomastics, while the specifics of Russian film titles and how the chosen target distributions approach these specifics in translation are also pointed out. The practical part is mainly based on a comparative analysis of translated film titles from different perspectives. The analysis is carried out on an overall level, then from a diachronic perspective, across specific film genres and additionally in the field of TV shows production.
