Viera Martinková, Ph.D. Year of the defence: 2024 Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na mimovládní organizace provozující pátrací a záchranné operace ve Středozemním moři a jejich vliv na mezinárodní normy. Cílem práce je zmapovat interakce těchto nevládních organizací s mezinárodními organizacemi a zjistit, zda a jak mohou ovlivňovat mezinárodní normy. Výzkum byl proveden metodou případové studie se zaměřením na tři mimovládní organizace: Lékaře bez hranic, ProActiva Open Arms a Sea Watch. Sběr dat probíhal formou rozhovorů se zástupci těchto organizací a analýzou příslušných zveřejněných dokumentů a informací týkajících se interakcí těchto mimovládních organizací s mezinárodními institucemi. Z výsledků vyplývá, že nejdostupnější platformou pro mimovládní organizace aktivní v pátracích a záchranných operací na moři, která jim umožňuje ovlivňovat mezinárodní normy, je Evropský parlament, konkrétně prostřednictvím vazeb těchto organizací na poslance...

Viera Martinková, Ph.D. Year of the defence: 2024 Abstract This bachelor's thesis focuses on non-governmental organizations (NGOs) active in maritime search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea and their effect on international norms. The aim of the thesis is to map the interactions of these NGOs with international organizations, in order to find out if and how they can affect international norms. The research was conducted using the case study method, focusing on three NGOs: Médecins Sans Frontières, ProActiva Open Arms and Sea Watch. The data collection process was done by conducting interviews with NGO representatives, as well as analysing relevant published documents and information concerning the interactions of these NGOs with international institutions.
