Dmitrij Pavlovič Nikitin (1897-1968). Život ruského emigranta v Československu

Abstract

(česky) Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pozoruhodné životní osudy Dimitrije Pavloviče Nikitina. Po ruské občanské válce, kterou prošel na straně bílých, se uchýlil do exilu v Československu, kde se natrvalo usadil. Práce zmapuje v kontextu širších událostí Nikitinovu účast v občanské válce, aktivity v rámci ruské emigrace, persekuci v období nacistické okupace, složité osobní peripetie v období státního socialismu, i jeho profesní činnost v oblasti umění a starožitnictví. Zvláštní pozornost věnuje práce otázkám vlivu událostí a prostředí na formování Nikitinových politických postojů, proměnám jeho identity jakožto emigranta, strategii přizpůsobení většinové společnosti a měnícím se mocenským a ideologickým podmínkám. Základním pramenem práce je Nikitinova písemná pozůstalost uložená v archivu Galerie výtvarného umění v Náchodě. Zohledněny budou také archivní fondy týkající se ruské emigrace a svazky Archivu bezpečnostních složek.

(anglicky) The bachelor thesis focuses on the remarkable life of Dimitri Pavlovich Nikitin. After the Russian civil war, which he went through on the side of the Whites, he took refuge in exile in Czechoslovakia, where he settled permanently. The thesis maps Nikitin's participation in the civil war, his activities within the Russian emigration, his persecution during the Nazi occupation, his complicated personal circumstances during the period of state socialism, and his professional activities in the field of art and antiquities in the context of wider events. The thesis pays special attention to the influence of events and environment on the formation of Nikitin's political attitudes, the transformation of his identity as an emigrant, and his strategy of adaptation to the majority society and changing power and ideological conditions. The main source of the thesis is Nikitin's written legacy stored in the archives of the Gallery of Fine Arts in Náchod. The archival holdings relating to Russian emigration and the volumes of the Archive of Security Forces will also be taken into account.
