Moje velká iluze aneb Umělecké směry počátku 20. století v románu Miky Waltariho

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na umělecké směry počátku 20. století jako expresionismus, futurismus aj. s cílem najít jejich charakteristické znaky v raném díle finského spisovatele Miky Waltariho. Analyzovaným dílem je román Suuri illusioni (č. Velká iluze) vydaný roku 1928, jenž popisuje atmosféru panující v kruhu nastupující helsinské generace spisovatelů a díky němuž se Waltari stal respektovaným spisovatelem na finském literárním poli. Nejprve je krátce představen Mika Waltari, analyzovaný román a kontext doby, ve kterém bylo dílo napsáno. Ve stěžejní části práce jsou pak na vybraných ukázkách z textu zobrazeny rysy indikující vybrané umělecké směry. This bachelor thesis focuses on artistic movements of the early 20th century such as expressionism, futurism, etc. with the aim of finding their characteristic features in the early novel by the Finnish writer Mika Waltari. The work analysed is the novel Suuri illusioni (The Grand Illusion), published in 1928, which describes the atmosphere within the circle of the emerging Helsinki generation of writers and which made Waltari a respected writer in the Finnish literary field. First, Mika Waltari, the novel under analysis and the context of the time in which the book was written are briefly introduced. Then, in the main part of the thesis, features indicative of selected art movements are shown through selected examples from the text.
