Vincenc z Valdštejna (1731-1797) aneb chvála průměrnosti

Abstract

(česky) Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na různé aspekty života Vincence z Valdštejna. Poukazuje na běžný život šlechtice, žijícího ve druhé polovině 18. století, na vymezení jeho sociálních interakcí ve veřejné i soukromé sféře, přihlíží k jeho závazkům v rámci rodinné tradice i jeho vlastním osobním zájmům. Práce se zabývá rovněž rolí šlechtice jako majitele panství, s čímž se pojí také stručný nástin plnění vrchnostenských povinností, fungování patrimoniální správy, výběru vrchnostenských úředníků i nutnost různorodých řešení špatné finanční situace. (in English) This diploma thesis focuses on various aspects of the life of Vincenz von Waldstein. It is supposed to shed light on the daily life of a nobleman living in the second half of the 18th century, circumscribe his social interactions in both public and private sphere. Also, it should consider his obligations within the framework of family tradition and the subject of his own interests. The role of the nobleman as the owner of the estate will be taken into account as an important part of the thesis, along with all that what is associated with it including a brief outline of the fulfilment of the aristocratic duties, the functioning of the patrimonial administration, the process of selection of high-ranking officials and also the necessity of dealing with the bad financial situation in various ways.
