Nona Fernández - překlad a analytická odborná studie

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje překladu vybraných částí z knihy Mapocho od chilské spisovatelky Nony Fernández a následné analytické odborné studii. Úvodní část mapuje chilskou literární scénu posledního století, následně se zaměřuje na literární tvorbu současné silné generace chilských spisovatelů, kvůli datu narození přezdívaných "děti diktatury" a také na feministickou vlnu pronikající do chilské literatury. Nona Fernández je zde zástupkyní obou kategorií. Její dílo zároveň nabízí rozbor nevšedního vypravěčského stylu a zvláštností chilské španělštiny. Tato témata jsou rozebrána v komentáři k překladu spolu s kontextem autorčina života a díla, rozborem knihy Mapocho, vytyčením metody překladu, dalšími překladatelskými řešeními a fiktivním rozhovorem s autorkou. This diploma thesis aims to provide a translation of a selected part of the book Mapocho written by the Chilean writer Nona Fernández and a subsequent specialized analytical study. The introductory part provides a summary of the Chilean literary scene of the last century, and then focuses on the feminist wave penetrating Chilean literature, as well as on the literary work of the current strong generation of Chilean writers, called "children of the dictatorship" because of their date of birth. Nona Fernández is the representative of both categories. Her work also provides an unusual narrative style and use of Chilean Spanish. These topics are discussed in the commentary on the translation, along with the context of the author's life and work, an analysis of Mapocho, a description of translation methods and procedures, translation problems and their solutions and a fictional interview with the author.
