Informace jako klíč ke spokojenosti i zdroj problémů - Pohled lékařů na informovaný souhlas

Abstract

Práce rozebírá téma informovaného souhlasu, jehož smysl, kterým byla původně ochrana autonomie pacientů před hegemonií lékařů, se v postmoderní společnosti rozšířil i na ochranu lékařů před stížnostmi pacientů, kteří využívají nabytou moc. Na problematiku je nahlíženo z pohledu lékařů, pracujících na oddělení neurologie ve veřejném sektoru péče. Práce se zaměřuje na to, jak tito lékaři vnímají informovaný souhlas, a jak ho v dnešní společnosti, která si prošla od doby jeho vzniku i implementace značnými proměnami, od pacientů dosahují. Cílem práce je tudíž prozkoumat, jak vnímání "informovanosti" a "souhlasu" souvisí s chápáním jejich vztahu s pacientem a nastínit nástroje a praktiky, které pro dosahování informovaného souhlasu od pacienta využívají. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu bylo provedeno osm polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s lékaři, kteří aktuálně pracují na neurologickém oddělení. Tyto rozhovory byly následně analyzovány metodou segmentace a kódování. Zjištění jsou v práci rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. Nejprve je rozebráno téma vnímání informovaného souhlasu a jeho smyslu, nastíněn je zde i vliv internetových zdrojů informací pro pacienty a jeho vliv na vnímání vztahu s nemocným. The thesis discusses the topic of informed consent, the meaning of which was originally the protection of patients' autonomy from the hegemony of doctors, which in postmodern society has been extended to the protection of doctors from the complaints of patients who use their acquired power. The issue is viewed from the perspective of doctors working in departments of neurology in the public care sector. The paper focuses on how these physicians perceive informed consent, and how they obtain it from patients in today's society, which has undergone significant changes since its inception and implementation. The aim of this paper is therefore to explore how perceptions of 'informed' and 'consent' relate to their understanding of their relationship with patients and to outline the tools and practices they use to achieve informed consent from patients. As part of the qualitative research, eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with doctors currently working in a department of neurology.
