Abstract

V úvodu naší práce věnované současnému italskému prozaikovi Carlu Sgorlonovi určujeme její hlavní cíle. Ústředním záměrem našeho zkoumání je uvést autora a reprezentativní témata jeho románů do českého prostředí. Sgorlon je v italském kontextu vnímán jako regionální autor, proto se zde zabýváme problémem literárního regionalismu a určujeme jeho relevanci pro naše další zkoumání.

In the introduction to this work, which is dedicated to the contemporary Italian author Carlo Sgorlon, I have attempted to define the main purposes of the thesis. The central aim of the work is to introduce the author to Czech readers and to name the main themes of his novels. Sgorlon has been included in the group of regionalist authors in the context of Italian literature; consequently, the issue of regionalism in literature and its relevance for the further course of the work is discussed.
