Maryša a Iokasté v režii Lukáše Brutovského

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the conception of the title heroines in the productions of Maryša (Marysha) and Iokasté (Jocasta) directed by Lukáš Brutovský. It focuses on the dramaturgical analysis of selected scenes in comparison with the staging. The author of the thesis is interested in how women's themes are interpreted by the director and how he presents gender injustice and violence to the audience. She also looks at how the female experience is portrayed within the individual stories of the main characters. Drawing on feminist critique, the thesis reveals ways in which the director replicates gender injustice through stereotyping the female protagonists. It evaluates the extent of the director's feminist stance and whether the production may give rise to further discussion of gender issues. Key words analysis of performance, feminism, Czech drama

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pojetím titulních hrdinek v inscenacích Maryša a Iokasté v režii Lukáše Brutovského. Soustředí se na dramaturgický rozbor vybraných scén ve srovnání s inscenačním ztvárněním. Autorku práce zajímá, jak jsou ženská témata režisérem interpretována, jakým způsobem reflektuje divákovi genderovou nespravedlnost a násilí. Zabývá se i tím, jak je ženská zkušenost zobrazena na základě individuálních příběhů hlavních hrdinek. Pomocí feministické kritiky odhaluje způsoby, jakými režisér replikuje genderovou nespravedlnost ve stereotypizaci hlavních hrdinek. Hodnotí míru feministických postojů režiséra a zda inscenace dává podnět k další diskuzi o genderové otázce. Klíčová slova analýza inscenace, feminismus, české drama
