Syntaktické aspekty existenciální konstrukce v dánštině s přihlédnutím k anglickému a českému překladu

Abstract

The chosen topic of this thesis is Danish existential sentences introduced by the pronoun "der," specifically with regard to their syntactic characteristics. The thesis firstly describes its approach and methodology used for the creation of its practical part. Secondly, the thesis delves into the general rules for the existential sentences, discusses the overlap between "der" and "det" existential constructions, briefly compares other existing works on the main topic, and thereafter arrives to its practical part. The practical part is an analysis of 120 sentences in total, more precisely, 60 sentences chosen from contemporary literature and 60 sentences based on corpus findings extracted from the European Parliament's official documents. The analysis pays special attention to the position of the pronoun "der", the notional subject and its realisations, verbs used in this type of constructions, and the position of the adverbials in these constructions. With this endeavour, the thesis hopes to contribute to the academic discourse, help further deepen the specification of the Danish existential sentences, and help potential other future comparative works, be it between Scandinavian languages or stylistically different types of texts. Tato práce pojednává o dánských existenciálních konstrukcích uvozených zájmenem "der", zejména z hlediska syntaxe. Práce nejprve v teoretické části popisuje metodologii uplatněnou při tvorbě praktické části, dále všeobecné charakteristiky a pravidla existenciálních "der" konstrukcí, přihlíží i k jejich průniku s "det" konstrukcemi, okrajově také porovnává již existující zdroje hovořící o této tématice a následně přechází do vlastní praktické části. Praktická část se sestává z analýzy 120 příkladů, přičemž 60 konstrukcí pochází z beletrie, přesněji ze tří soudobých literárních děl. Dalších 60 příkladů bylo korpusově vybráno z dokumentů Evropského parlamentu. Analýza se zaměřuje zejména na pozici zájmena "der" ve větě, nocionální podmět a jeho realizace, užitá slovesa a umístění příslovečných určení v daných konstrukcích. Účelem této práce je jak ověření pravidel nastíněných v praktické části, tak nalezení specifických charakteristik těchto dvou odlišných typů textů. Tímto se práce pokusí přispět do diskurzu ohledně této problematiky, prohloubit jejich specifikaci, a tím posloužit dalším srovnávacím analýzám, ať už mezi stylisticky různými dánskými texty, nebo mezi existenciálními konstrukcemi užitými v jednotlivých skandinávských jazycích.
