Bytová situace mladých rodin s dětmi v Praze z pohledu teorie sociálního státu a perspektivy životního cyklu

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the housing situation of young families with children in the context of the housing crisis in Prague. The main aim of the thesis is to describe and understand the housing situation of young families in detail and at the same time to explain the situation and their behaviour from the perspective of the welfare state theory and from a life-cycle perspective. The thesis is interested in the history of the housing situation of families and the broader context of the problem - family and housing policy and the transformation of the family at the beginning of the 21st century, the threats to families and the new social risks. Based on a structured analysis of individual interviews with nine young parents, it seeks answers to the questions of whether families are finding affordable housing, what problems they face, and how social policy is responding to their situation. It presents options for measures to improve the housing situation of families, using examples from abroad and the Czech Republic. It gives voice to young families with children who are under- represented in today's debate on unaffordable housing in an urbanised world.

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na bytovou situaci mladých rodin s dětmi v kontextu bytové krize v Praze. Hlavním cílem práce je detailně popsat a porozumět bytové situaci mladých rodin a zároveň vysvětlit situaci a jejich chování z pohledu teorie sociálního státu a z perspektivy životního cyklu. Zajímá se o historii bytové situace rodin a širší kontext problému - rodinnou a bytovou politiku a proměnu rodiny na začátku 21. století, ohrožení rodin a možná sociální rizika. Na základě tematické analýzy individuálních rozhovorů s devíti mladými rodiči hledá odpovědi na otázky, zda rodiny nacházejí dostupné bydlení, s jakými problémy se potýkají a jak na jejich situaci reaguje sociální politika. Představuje možnosti opatření pro zlepšení bytové situace rodin na příkladech ze zahraničí i ČR. Dává hlas mladým rodinám s dětmi, které jsou v dnešní debatě o nedostupném bydlení v urbanizovaném světě nedostatečně slyšet.
