Role političek ve formování české zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky

Abstract

The present bachelor thesis focuses on the role of women politicians in the formation of Czech foreign and security policy. The thesis aims to identify and analyse the roles that female politicians have played and continue to play in these policies, often referred to as power politics, in the period from the establishment of the Czech Republic to the present. In assessing the role of Czech women politicians, the thesis examines the development of women's participation and promotion as actors in foreign and security policies, assuming that their roles are not yet very prominent, mainly due to the unequal representation of women in high politics. The thesis analyses the low participation and representation of women in foreign and security policy positions through quantitative research that assesses the evolution of women's representation in these policies over time. The thesis also assesses the reasons why women's participation in these policies is lower by analysing foreign publications, Czech expert studies, statistical data and opinion polls. In addition to analysing the roles of Czech women politicians, the thesis also includes research on the potential roles that women could play in these policies in the future. Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje roli političek ve formování české zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky. Cílem práce je identifikace a analýza rolí, které političky v těchto politikách, často také označovaných za silové, v období od vzniku České republiky do současnosti zastávaly a zastávají. Při hodnocení role českých političek se práce zaměřuje na vývoj participace a prosazení žen jako aktérek zahraničních a bezpečnostních politik, přičemž je vycházeno z předpokladu, že jejich role zatím nejsou příliš významné, a to zejména z důvodu nerovnoměrného zastoupení žen ve vysoké politice. Nízkou participaci a reprezentaci žen v zahraničněpolitických a bezpečnostních pozicích práce analyzuje skrze kvantitativní výzkum, který posuzuje vývoj jejich zastoupení v čase. V práci jsou rovněž posuzovány důvody, proč je účast žen v těchto politikách nižší, a to na základě analýzy zahraničních publikací, českých odborných studií, statistických údajů a průzkumů veřejného mínění. Kromě analýzy rolí českých političek, je součástí práce také výzkum věnující se potenciální roli, kterou by ženy mohly v těchto politikách zastávat do budoucna. Za tímto účelem práce užívá možnosti přijetí teorie feministické zahraniční politiky, kterou již v různých podobách přijalo několik států.
