Terminologie nemovitostního práva v překladu ze španělštiny do češtiny

Abstract

(in English) The presented master's thesis is a terminological study that examines the issue of translating legal texts related to the purchase of real estate from Spanish into English. In the theoretical part, we outline the issue of translation of legal texts with a focus on the field of terminology and map the existing research in this area. This thesis will be accompanied by authentic documents in Spanish related to the sale of the property, which will serve as material for the empirical part. All personal data contained in these documents have been deleted to protect them.We will carry out a translatological analysis of these deeds and select a set of terms to follow in the study. For the selected terms, we analyse the equivalences proposed in available sources (professional legal dictionaries and the IATE terminology database) and observe the type of equivalence and the suitability for the context. Finally, we summarize the main aspects of the translation of terminology in the field of law under study from Spanish into English and evaluate the different sources. The terminology study also results in a draft bilingual glossary based on the texts analysed.

(česky) Předložená diplomová práce má charakter terminologické studie, která zkoumá problematiku překladu právních textů vztahujících se ke koupi nemovitosti ve směru ze španělštiny do češtiny. V teoretické části nastiňujeme problematiku překladu právních textů se zaměřením na oblast terminologie a mapujeme existující výzkumy v této oblasti. Přílohou této práce budou autentické listiny ve španělštině související s prodejem nemovitosti, které poslouží jako materiál pro empirickou část. Veškeré osobní údaje, které tyto listiny obsahují, jsou z důvodu jejich ochrany vymazány. Provedeme translatologickou analýzu těchto listin a vybereme soubor termínů, které budeme ve studii sledovat. U zvolených termínů analyzujeme ekvivalenty navrhované v dostupných zdrojích (odborných právních slovnících a terminologické databázi IATE) a sledujeme u nich typ ekvivalence a vhodnost pro daný kontext. V závěru shrnujeme hlavní aspekty překladu terminologie ve sledované oblasti práva ze španělštiny do češtiny a zhodnotíme jednotlivé zdroje. Výstupem terminologické studie je také návrh dvojjazyčného glosáře vycházející z analyzovaných textů.
