Dominikáni mezi barokem a osvícenstvím Konventy dnešních severních Čech v době tereziánské a josefinské

Abstract

The thesis concentrates on three Dominican convents located in the territory of today's northern Bohemia. It includes the convents in Litoměřice, Ústí nad Labem and Jablonné v Podještědí. The timeframe is defined by the reign of Maria Theresia and her son Joseph II., approximately from 1740 to 1790. This thesis focuses on the relationships between the convents and their surroundings (especially towns of various types and sizes), which are described through various specific topics. The thesis concerns with narrative sources of monastic provenance, with the situation of the convents during wars and with the peregrination of the friars between the convents. Furthermore, the study presents a unique case of sorcery at Mariánská skála in Ústí nad Labem, which is related to the local convent. Finally, the efforts of Joseph II. to dissolve the convents are depicted. Tato diplomová práce se věnuje třem dominikánským konventům, které působily na území dnešních severních Čech. Jedná se o konventy v Litoměřicích, v Ústí nad Labem a v Jablonném v Podještědí. Časově je práce vymezena obdobím vlády Marie Terezie a jejího syna Josefa II., tedy zhruba lety 1740 až 1790. Důraz je kladen na vztahy řeholních domů s jejich okolím, zejména s městy různého druhu a velikosti, které jsou přiblíženy skrze řadu dílčích témat. Práce se věnuje narativním pramenům řeholní provenience, situaci konventů během válečných konfliktů nebo peregrinaci řeholníků mezi konventy. Dále je zde přiblížen ojedinělý případ čarování na Mariánské skále v Ústí nad Labem, který měl přímou souvislost se zdejším konventem, a opomenuty nejsou ani josefinské snahy o rušení klášterů.
