Abstract

The bachelor thesis contains a translation of the text "Die oper erwirbt mir die Märtirerkrone. Von der Leonore zum Fidelio - Beethovens Ringen um seine einzige Oper" from German into Czech. The text is part of the book "Bald sind wir aber Gesang. Essays zu Oper, Musik und Literatur" by German musicologist Uwe Schweikert from 2021. The author of the text critically analyses the genesis of Ludwig van Beethoven's opera Fidelio. The aim of the thesis was to produce a translation intended for a theatre programme for a hypothetical production of this opera. The translation itself is followed by a commentary, which includes a translation analysis based on Christiane Nord's model, an overview of the problems the author of the thesis solved in the translation process, a typology of the shifts that occurred in the translation, and a proposed method of translation.

Předložená bakalářská práce obsahuje překlad textu "Die oper erwirbt mir die Märtirerkrone. Von der Leonore zum Fidelio - Beethovens Ringen um seine einzige Oper" z němčiny do češtiny. Text pochází z knihy "Bald sind wir aber Gesang. Essays zu Oper, Musik und Literatur" od německého muzikologa Uweho Schweikerta z roku 2021. Autor v něm kriticky zpracovává genezi opery Fidelio od Ludwiga van Beethovena. Cílem práce bylo vyhotovit překlad do divadelního programu pro hypotetické uvedení této opery. Na samotný překlad navazuje odborný komentář, který obsahuje překladatelskou analýzu podle modelu Christiane Nordové, přehled problémů, které autor práce při překladu řešil, typologii posunů, ke kterým při překladu došlo, a metodu překladu.
