Faktory ovlivňující rozhodování ukrajinských uprchlic a uprchlíků při výběru cílové země

Abstract

The thesis will examine the motives of Ukrainian refugees that play a role in their decision- making process regarding the choice of whether to stay in the receiving country (the Czech Republic) or continue elsewhere. The theoretical part will introduce the topic of refugees, migration policies, existing research on refugee decision-making of a destination country, current events in Ukraine, and the situation of Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic. The empirical part will consist of qualitative research that will include semi-structured interviews with Ukrainian refugees. The main findings of this work are that the Czech Republic is not a transition country for any of the respondents and that the key criteria in the decision-making process of a destination country is age. Furthermore, it shows that the concept of push-pull factors is insufficient for this research. The given founding's tell us that the Czech state will have to deal with the long-term stay of Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic, and it will be necessary to come up with a long-term integration plan.

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na faktory, jež ovlivňují rozhodování ukrajinských uprchlic a uprchlíků, zda zůstat v přijímací zemi (v České republice), či pokračovat jinam. Teoretická část představuje téma uprchlictví, migrační politiku, dosavadní výzkumy rozhodování uprchlíků o volbě cílové země a situaci ukrajinských uprchlíků a uprchlic v České republice. Empirická část práce představuje kvalitativní výzkum provedený formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s ukrajinskými uprchlicemi a uprchlíky. Klíčovými zjištění této práce je, že Česká republika pro respondenty není tranzitní zemí a že zásadním kritériem v otázce rozhodování respondentů o cílové zemi se ukázal věk respondentů. Dále se také ukazuje, že koncept push-pull faktorů je nedostačující pro tento výzkum. Z daných zjištění vyplývá, že se český stát bude muset věnovat dlouhodobému setrvání ukrajinských uprchlíků na českém území a bude tak potřeba přijít s dlouhodobým integračním plánem.
