Mesiánští Židé v Izraeli

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the movement of Messianic Jews in Israel, its history and characteristics. Messianic Jews most often self-identify as Jews who believe in Jesus of Nazareth, his messiahship, and divine nature. The identity of Messianic Jews is therefore primarily Jewish, but their movement and faith are directly derived from Christianity. For this reason, it is possible to look at Messianic Jews as a phenomenon of multiple religious orientations. The thesis explains the concept of multiple religious orientation and the differences between multiple religious identity, participation and belonging, in order to subsequently apply this concept to a group of Messianic Jews in Israel. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to characterize the form of Messianic Judaism in Israel and answer the question of which type of multiple religious orientation this specific group of believers is.

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na hnutí mesiánských Židů v Izraeli, jeho historii a charakteristiku. Mesiánští Židé se nejčastěji sebeidentifikují jako Židé věřící v Ježíše Nazaretského, jeho mesiášství a božskou podstatu. Identita mesiánských Židů je proto především židovská, avšak jejich hnutí a víra přímo vychází z křesťanství. Z tohoto důvodu se nabízí možnost pohlížet na mesiánské Židy jako na fenomén mnohonásobné náboženské orientace. Práce vysvětluje pojem mnohonásobné náboženské orientace a jednotlivé rozdíly mezi mnohonásobnou náboženskou identitou, participací a příslušností, aby byl tento koncept následně aplikován na skupinu mesiánských židů v Izraeli. Cílem bakalářské práce je charakterizovat podobu mesiánského judaismu v Izraeli a následně odpovědět na otázku o jaký z typů mnohonásobné náboženské orientace se jedná.
