Romana Marková Volejníčková, Ph.D. Year of thesis defense: 2023 Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the abolition of infant institutions and the attitude of social workers of the Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children towards it. It is focused on the opinions of workers regarding the practical feasibility of placing vulnerable children under the age of 3 outside of institutional care, in connection with the amendment to Act 359/1999 Coll. on the social-legal protection of children. As part of the interviews with the informants, it was also determined what "good care" means in their opinion and whether infant institutions can fulfill it. This thesis compares the Ústí Region and Prague and maps whether there are different opinions between them regarding the amendment of the law. Romana Marková Volejníčková, Ph.D. Rok obhajoby: 2023 Abstrakt Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rušení kojeneckých ústavů a postoji sociálních pracovníků Orgánu pro Sociálně-Právní Ochranu Dětí k ní. Zaměřena je na názory pracovníků ohledně uskutečnitelnosti v praxi umísťovat ohrožené děti do 3 let věku mimo institucionální péči, v souvislosti s novelou zákona 359/1999 Sb. o sociálně-právní ochraně dětí. V rámci rozhovorů s informanty bylo také zjišťováno, co podle nich znamená "dobrá péče" a zda jsou ji kojenecké ústavy, potažmo domovy pro děti do 3 let věku schopné zajistit. Práce porovnává Ústecký kraj a Prahu a mapuje, zda mezi nimi existují v pohledu na novelu zákona odlišné názory. Teoretická část blíže vymezuje pojmy jako ohrožené dítě či jeho potřeby, co je ústavní výchova, jak se dělí a jak v ČR funguje a jaké zde existují náhradní formy péče.
