Vznik a vývoj časopisu Gól v letech 1968-1989

Abstract

This bachelor thesis explores the origin and development of the sports magazine Gól, which centers in on the two most popular sports - football and ice hockey. The aim of the thesis is to present the origin of Gól in 1968 and to map its subsequent development until 1989. It also examines the environment of Czech sports journalism in the second half of the 1960s and the Olympia publishing house, which published Gól throughout the period of normalization. I examined 22 issues of the magazine, analyzed its structure and focused on its content agenda and graphic design. The thesis describes the main sections of Gól and also examines the influence of the communist regime on the magazine's content. It also focuses on the editorial personalities who shaped the form of the magazine. I conducted semi-structured interviews with former editors Jaroslav Kolář, Pavel Bárta, Stanislav Hrabě, Přemysl Hrubý and Jiří Macků, whose utterances helped me gather valuable information about the development of the traditional magazine.

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vzniku a vývoji sportovního týdeníku Gól, který se zaměřoval na dva nejpopulárnější sporty - fotbal a lední hokej. Cílem práce je přiblížit okolnosti vzniku Gólu v roce 1968 a zmapovat jeho následný vývoj až do roku 1989. Práce se rovněž zabývá prostředím české sportovní žurnalistiky ve druhé polovině 60. let 20. století a nakladatelstvím Olympia, které Gól vydávalo. Zkoumala jsem 22 ročníků týdeníku, analyzovala jsem jeho strukturu a zaměřila jsem se na jeho obsahovou agendu a grafickou podobu. Popsala jsem významné rubriky Gólu a také zjišťovala vliv komunistického režimu na tvorbu obsahu časopisu. V neposlední řadě jsem se věnovala redaktorským osobnostem, které podobu zkoumaného periodika utvářely. Provedla jsem polostrukturované rozhovory s bývalými redaktory Jaroslavem Kolářem, Pavlem Bártou, Stanislavem Hrabětem, Přemyslem Hrubým a Jiřím Macků, jejichž výpovědi mi pomohly získat cenné informace o vývoji tradičního periodika.
