"Ta polyamorie tam vždycky nějakým způsobem byla" - Zkušenosti žen s polyamorií

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the phenomenon of polyamory, an alternative form of experiencing partner relationships in which it is possible and acceptable to love more than one person simultaneously. This thesis examines how women who have experience with polyamory relationships evaluate this experience, what meanings they attribute to their experiences with polyamory and how polyamory influences their construction of self. The thesis also focuses on the influence of social norms and expectations associated with partnership and female sexuality in Western society. Thus, the goal is to describe how women experience polyamory and to explain to what extent society stigmatizes this relationship arrangement and how polyamorists deal with it. The findings in the analytical part of the work derive from the analysis of nine in-depth interviews conducted with women who have experience with polyamorous relationships. These interviews were analysed using the qualitative method of segmentation and coding. The findings of this research are divided into four areas. Bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem polyamorie, tedy alternativní formou prožívání partnerských vztahů, ve kterých je možné a přípustné milovat více lidmi současně. V rámci těchto vztahů se práce zabývá tím, jak ženy, které mají zkušenost s polyamorií, hodnotí tuto svou zkušenost, jaké významy jí přisuzují a jak polyamorie ovlivňuje konstrukci jejich identity. Vedle toho se práce zaměřuje také na vliv společenských norem a očekávání spojených s partnerstvím a ženskou sexualitou v západní společnosti. Cílem práce je tedy přiblížit, jak ženy polyamorii zakoušejí, a objasnit, do jaké míry je ve společnosti toto vztahové uspořádání stigmatizováno, co stigmatizaci podmiňuje, jaké jsou její projevy a jak se s ní praktikující vyrovnávají. Zjištění v analytické části práce vycházejí z analýzy devíti hloubkových rozhovorů provedených s ženami majícími s polyamory vztahy zkušenost. Analýza těchto rozhovorů je založena na kvalitativní metodě segmentace a kódování. Zjištění výzkumu jsou v práci rozčleněna do čtyř okruhů. První z nich je zaměřen na zkušenosti žen s polyamorií, kam spadá například představení a reflexe jejich cesty k polyamorním vztahům.
