Arménská apoštolská církev a její role při integraci Arménů v Česku

Abstract

Absctract Armenians were the first nation in the world to adopt Christianity as their state religion. For that reason, the Armenian Apostolic Church is considered as one of the oldest in the world. For centuries, it has also carried one task, which is to preserve the national identity of a nation that has been tested several times. The aim of the thesis is to submit research related to this ancient church. At the same time, based on the current increasing numbers of Armenians in the Czechia, evaluated its role on the integration of the nation into Czech society. The work also deals with the position of the church in the life of Armenians.

Arméni byli první národ na světě, kteří přijali křesťanství jako státní náboženství. Z toho důvodu je Arménská apoštolská církev považována za jednu z nejstarších na světě. Po staletí nese také jistý úkol, a sice uchovává národní identitu mnohdy těžce zkoušeného národa. Cílem práce je podat rešerši týkající se této starobylé církve. Zároveň, na pozadí zvyšujícího počtu Arménů v Česku, zhodnotit její vliv na integraci národa do české společnosti. Práce se také zabývá postavením církve v životě Arménů.
