Atraktivita obličeje a barva a textura pokožky

Abstract

The main aim of this thesis is, in the form of a literature review and critical evaluation, to summarize the available findings from scientific research on the influence of skin color and texture on facial attractiveness. The first part briefly introduces some of the evolutionary perspectives on attractiveness and then the aspects primarily studied in the past that affect facial attractiveness, i.e., symmetry, averageness and sexually dimorphic features. The main section of this thesis is devoted to other important traits affecting facial attractiveness, that is, skin color and texture. Topics discussed include individual skin color traits (i.e., redness, yellowness, lightness and homogeneity of color), while this thesis tries to describe their association with actual health or physical condition. The influence of culture and gender on the perception of these traits is also included. Regarding skin texture, the topics of acne, scars, radiance and wrinkles and their effect on perceived attractiveness are discussed. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je formou literární rešerše shrnout a kriticky zhodnotit dosavadní poznatky ze studia vlivu barev a textury pokožky na atraktivitu obličeje. V první části práce jsou stručně představeny nejprve některé z evolučních pohledů na atraktivitu a poté v minulosti primárně studované aspekty ovlivňující atraktivitu obličeje, tedy symetrie, průměrovost a pohlavně dimorfické znaky. Stěžejní část práce se zabývá další důležitou kategorií rysů ovlivňujících atraktivitu obličeje, a to barvou a texturou pokožky. Mezi probíraná témata patří jednotlivé barevné znaky pokožky (tj. červenost, žlutost, světlost a homogenita barvy), přičemž se tato práce snaží popsat jejich možné spojení se skutečným zdravím či kondicí jedince. Zahrnut je i vliv kultury a pohlaví na percepci těchto znaků. Z oblasti textury pokožky jsou rozebírána témata akné, jizev, zářivosti a vrásek a jejich vliv na vnímanou atraktivitu. Podobně jako u barevných znaků je sledováno možné spojení se zdravím jedince a jsou představena potencionální ovlivnění kulturou a pohlavím.
