BUDOVÁNÍ PŘINÁLEŽITOSTI K MÍSTU U OBYVATEL SÍDLIŠTĚ: PŘÍPADOVÁ STUDIE SÍDLIŠTĚ ĎÁBLICE A SPOŘILOV

Abstract

The thesis deals with the topic of place attachment, i.e. the emotional bond of a person to a place, in this case to the place of residence, with a focus on residents of socialist housing estates. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical background. It discusses, on the one hand, the available literature on the development of place attachment, the ways of measuring it or the psychological nature of this attachment itself. Also, the phenomenon of modernist housing estates and their contemporary image is described in this part. In the second, empirical part, the aim is to find out how place attachment is formed among the residents of the housing estates, what further influences this relationship, and how this process of evolving differs in the two estates. The research is qualitative in nature and the main method of data collection is semi-structured interviews. The case study was carried out in two housing estates in Prague, which differ both in size and in how well they are known by the general public - the Ďáblice housing estate and the Spořilov housing estate. Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu přináležitosti k místu, tedy emoční vazbě člověka k některému místu, v tomto případě k místu bydliště, se zaměřením na rezidenty socialistických sídlišť. První část práce se věnuje teoretickým východiskům. Diskutována je na jedné straně dostupná literatura k budování přináležitosti k místu, způsoby jejího měření či samotná psychologická podstata této vazby. Také je v této části popsán fenomén sídlišť a jejich současný image. V druhé, empirické, části je cílem zjistit, jak je přináležitost k místu u obyvatel sídliště budována, co tento vztah dále ovlivňuje a také jak se onen proces budování liší na obou zkoumaných sídlištích. Výzkum má kvalitativní charakter a hlavní metodou sběru dat jsou polo-strukturovaní rozhovory. Dvacet jedna provedených rozhovorů bylo podrobeno reflexivní tematické analýze. Případová studie byla provedena na dvou sídlištích v Praze, které se odlišují jednak velikostí a jednak i obecnou známostí - na sídlišti Ďáblice a na sídlišti Spořilov. V této práci byly identifikovány tři mechanismy vedoucí k budování přináležitosti k místu - rostoucí lokální obeznámenost, intenzivní trávení času na sídlišti a občanská angažovanost.
