Zuzana Krausová Title: Therapy of patients with idiopathic scoliosis - preferences, opinions and contentment of physiotherapy students in the Czech Republic with the content of education Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the preferences, opinions and contentment of physiotherapy students in the Czech Republic with the content of education in relation to the topic of therapy of patients with idiopathic scoliosis. Methods: A non-standardized questionnaire containing 41 questions was used to collect data. The target group for this research was physiotherapy students. The research population consisted of 190 respondents. The students were given the opportunity to express their opinions with respect to the educational content on idiopathic scoliosis through closed and open-ended questions in the questionnaire survey. Results: The results of the work show that more than 60% of the students who completed the questionnaire survey are not satisfied with their knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies with regard to the topic of idiopathic scoliosis. More than 60% of the students are also not confident in treating and educating these patients. Metody: K získání dat byl využit nestandardizovaný dotazník obsahující 41 otázek. Cílovou skupinou pro tento výzkum byli studenti fyzioterapie. Výzkumný soubor tvořil 190 respondentů. Studenti měli možnost v rámci dotazníkového šetření prostřednictvím uzavřených i otevřených otázek vyjádřit své názory vzhledem k obsahu vzdělávání k tématice idiopatická skolióza. Výsledky: Výsledky práce ukazují, že více než 60 % studentů, kteří vyplnili dotazníkové šetření, není spokojeno se svými znalostmi a dovednostmi, které získali během studia vzhledem k tématice idiopatická skolióza. Více než 60 % studentů si taktéž není jisto při léčbě a edukaci těchto pacientů. Z výsledků taktéž vyplývá, že téměř 75 % studentů není spokojeno s prostorem, který je ve výuce vyhrazen pro řešení této problematiky v porovnání s prostorem věnovaným ostatním diagnózám.
