Obsahový průzkum historické knihovny: Zámecká knihovna Veltrusy

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním fondu zámecké knihovny Veltrusy. Cíl práce zahrnuje obsahovou a provenienční charakteristiku fondu. V úvodních kapitolách je popsána historie zámecké budovy s knihovnou ve Veltrusích a dějiny rodu Chotků se zaměřením na budovatele knihovny. Následující kapitoly zahrnují chronologický, tematický, jazykový a provenienční rozbor sbírky. Uvedená problematika je řešena metodou obsahové a kritické analýzy. Pomocí nich bylo zjištěno, že převážná většina fondu pochází z 18. století, v knihovně nalezneme především beletrii a jazykově převládají knihy francouzské. Z provenienčního hlediska je významná osobnost Jana Rudolfa Chotka, rozmnožitele knihovny.

The thesis is focused on the processing of the collection of the Veltrusy castle library. The aim of this thesis includes the content and provenance characteristics of the collection. The introductory chapters describe the history of the castle building with the library in the town Veltrusy, and the history of the Chotek family with a focus on the builders of the library. The following chapters include a chronological, thematic, linguistic and provenance analysis of the collection. The problematic is dealt with the method of content and critical analysis. Using the methods, it was found out that the majority of the collection comes from the 18th century, there is mainly fiction in the library, and French books predominate. Jan Rudolf Chotek, the magnifier of the library, is an important figure from the provenance point of view.
