La influencia de Dostoievsky en la obra de Pío Baroja

Abstract

(český) Tato diplomová práce zkoumá dílo dvou velkých autorů v dějinách literatury - Fjodora Dostojevského a Pío Baroji. Práce se zaměřuje na interpretaci a zkoumání filozofických myšlenek a umělecké techniky spisovatelů. Pío Baroja popsal román jako proteanský a otevřený žánr, který kombinuje filozofii, psychologii, dobrodružství, utopii a epos. Prostřednictvím srovnávací analýzy budeme sledovat paralely, které existují v díle obou autorů, a zároveň některé aspekty a charakteristiky, které odlišují jejich myšlenky. Spolu s obecnými a filozofickými myšlenkami budou představeny společné prvky a výrazné zvláštnosti děl obou spisovatelů, jako jsou hlavní a vedlejší postavy, hrdinové a antihrdinové, místo, kde se příběh odehrává, prostředí a atmosféra, stejně jako dějové a narativní prvky. Mezi nimi stojí za to také vyzdvihnout literární motivy charakteristické pro oba autory. Například individuální boj, sociální konflikt a sociální vyloučení, existenciální antropologie, melancholie, bolest, etika a morální úsudek. (English) This master's thesis examines the work of two great authors in the history of literature: Fyodor Dostoievsky and Pío Baroja. The thesis focuses on the interpretation and investigation of the philosophical ideas and the artistic technique of the writers. Pío Baroja describes the novel as a protean and open genre that combines philosophy, psychology, adventure, utopia, and epic. Through a comparative analysis, we will trace the parallels that exist in the work of the two writers and some aspects and characteristics that distinguish their ideas. Along with the themes, common elements and significant peculiarities of the works of both writers will be presented, such as main and secondary characters, heroes and anti-heroes, place where the story takes place and atmosphere, as well as plot and narrative elements. In addition, the present work will investigate the characteristic literary motives of both authors. Among them, the following topics should be highlighted: individual struggle, social conflict and social exclusion, existential anthropology, melancholy, pain, ethics and moral judgment.
