Tradice pikareskního románu a Camilo José Cela

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pikareskním románem. Zaměřuje se na prototyp pikareskního románu, Lazarilla z Tormesu od anonymního autora a porovnává ho s Novými příhodami a nehodami Lazarilla z Tormesu Camila José Cely. V teoretické části práce představuje pikareskní román, stručně prezentuje oba romány a nastiňuje nezbytný historický kontext obou období, španělský zlatý věk a poválečné období. Ve druhé, více praktické části, se práce věnuje postavě pikara, a především třem základním principům pikareskního románu. Jedná se o princip autobiografičnosti, cesty a služby mnoha pánům, který souvisí s kompozicí tohoto žánru. V každé kapitole jsou nejdříve obecně rozebrány buď postava pikara nebo daný princip a následně jsou díla porovnána s přihlédnutím k danému formálnímu aspektu. This master's thesis examines the picaresque novel. It focuses on the prototype of the picaresque novel, Lazarillo de Tormes written by an anonymous author, and compares it to the New Adventures and Misadventures of Lazarillo de Tormes by Camilo José Cela. In the theoretical part, the thesis introduces the picaresque novel, briefly presents both novels and outlines the necessary historical context of both periods, the Spanish Golden Age and the post- war period. In the second, more practical part, the thesis focuses on the character of picaro and the three fundamental principles of the picaresque novel. These are the principles of autobiography, journey and service to many masters, which is related to the composition of the genre. In each chapter, either the character of picaro or the principle in question is first analysed in general terms, and then the novels are compared regarding the formal aspect in question.
