Využívání narativních technik v českých zpravodajských podcastech

Abstract

The diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of the Czech scene of news podcasts, with a focus on their categorization and analysis of the narratives used. In news, they play the role of tools, thanks to which it is possible to use the technique and structures known from the literature, and thus create more attractive content for the audience. The work is divided into two main parts. In the theoretical introduction, the terms podcast and podcasting are defined. Podcasting is, for this work, defined as a medium that is suitable for the distribution of audio content via RSS channels. This is followed by a presentation of selected foreign studies that lay the theoretical foundation for the practical part of the work. To fulfill the objectives of the work, the practical part of the work is divided into quantitative analysis and content analysis of narratives. First, popular Czech news podcasts and their producers are categorized using quantitative analysis. Subsequently, attention is paid to a detailed analysis of narratives in selected news podcasts with a focus on identifying narrative techniques and their influence on the form of news content.

Diplomová práce se věnuje analýze české scény zpravodajských podcastů se zaměřením na jejich kategorizaci a analýzu používaných narativů. Ty ve zpravodajství hrají roli nástrojů, díky nimž je možné využívat techniky a struktury známé z literatury, a tak vytvářet přitažlivější obsah pro publikum. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části. V teoretickém úvodu jsou vymezeny pojmy podcast a podcasting, jenž je pro účely této práce definován jako médium, které je vhodné pro distribuci audio obsahů prostřednictvím RSS kanálů. Následuje představení vybraných zahraničních studií, které staví teoretický základ pro praktickou část práce. Ta je pro naplnění cílů práce rozdělena na kvantitativní analýzu a obsahovou analýzu narativů. Nejprve jsou populární české zpravodajské podcasty a jejich producenti kategorizováni za pomocí kvantitativní analýzy a následně je pozornost věnována podrobné analýze narativů u vybraných zpravodajských podcastů se zaměřením na identifikaci narativních technik a jejich vliv na podobu zpravodajského obsahu.
