Velká Británie a koncept rovnováhy sil na Vídeňském kongresu

Abstract

(in English): The bachelor thesis analyses the approach of Great Britain towards the balance of power concept and its subsequent application at the Congress of Vienna, 1814-1815. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess how this approach influenced the goals which Great Britain aimed to achieve and how it influenced its choice of allies. However it deals with the broader impact on the conduct of the Congress and its approach to selected questions too. The thesis is based mainly on editions of issued correspondence and analysis of modern historical monographs and articles primarily of anglosaxon provenience. The methods of international realtions and political history analyses are applied. (česky) Bakalářská práce se zaměří na rozbor britského pojetí konceptu rovnováhy sil a na jeho uplatnění během vyjednávání Vídeňského kongresu mezi lety 1814-1815. Práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit, jak britské pojetí této myšlenky ovlivňovalo cíle, jichž chtěla britská delegace dosáhnout, jaký mělo vliv na výběr spojenců a jaký byl jeho dopad na celkový průběh jednání kongresu a na jeho přístup k jednotlivým otázkám. Informace a podklady pro bakalářskou práci budou čerpány ze studia edic vydaných pramenů a z děl odborné literatury převážně anglosaské provenience.
