Zaniklé krajiny v dokumentární fotografii

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis was to create a photobook on the topic of extinct landscapes, which is a look back at the history of three Czech localities and in which I present a set of photographs that I compare with photographs from the period. I focused on defunct places that were architecturally, historically or geographically significant - namely old Prague, Bohemian Forest and Ralsko region. All these localities are united by the unnaturalness and insensitivity of their changes. Given that this topic concerns not only buildings and cities, but also the natural landscape as such, the work also takes on an environmental character. I anchored all these aspects in the theoretical part of the work, in which I deal more closely with the phenomenon of documentary photography, architectural photography, as well as the phenomenon of disappearing landscapes and their reproduction in Czech photography.

Cílem této praktické bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit fotoknihu na téma zaniklých krajin, která je ohlédnutím za historií třech českých lokalit a ve které prezentuji soubor fotografií, jež porovnávám s fotografiemi dobovými. Zaměřila jsem se na zaniklá místa, která byla něčím architektonicky, historicky či geograficky významná - konkrétně na starou Prahu, Šumavu a Ralsko. Všechny tyto lokality spojuje nepřirozenost a necitlivost jejich proměn. Vzhledem k tomu, že se toto téma týká nejen staveb a měst, ale i přírodní krajiny jako takové, nabývá práce částečně i environmentálního charakteru. Všechny tyto aspekty jsem ukotvila v teoretické části práce, ve které se blíže zabývám fenoménem dokumentární fotografie, architektonické fotografie a také fenoménem mizejících krajin a jejich reprodukci v české fotografii.
