Pouliční obtěžování a jeho reflexe v českých masmédiích

Abstract

(in English) This thesis focuses on the phenomenon of street harassment and analyses the ways in which this phenomenon is framed in the Czech media. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to a comprehensive view of street harassment, its definition, its impact on harassed women or theories explaining its origin. I also look at the extent to which street harassment is widespread in the world. I also describe how the media influence the construction and perception of the world and how street harassment is presented in the world media. The main aim of this thesis is to identify media frames related to street harassment in Czech news websites. The media frames were identified using the qualitative frame analysis method, in four news servers selected on the basis of their viewership, credibility and proclaimed ideological neutrality. Thus, I conducted the analysis on the news servers Aktuálně.cz, Seznam zprávy, iDNES.cz and Parlamentní listy. In these monitored servers, I sought answers to the research questions: how and through which frames is street harassment presented in the selected news servers over the monitored period, and are there differences in the framing of this topic between news servers? Tato diplomová práce se věnuje fenoménu pouliční obtěžování a analyzuje způsoby, jakými je tento fenomén v českých médiích rámován. Teoretická část práce se věnuje komplexnímu pohledu na pouliční obtěžování, jeho definici, dopadům na obtěžované ženy nebo teoriím vysvětlujícím jeho vznik. Rovněž se věnuji tomu, do jaké míry je pouliční obtěžování ve světě rozšířené. Popisuji také, jaký vliv na konstruování a vnímání světa mají média a jakým způsobem je pouliční obtěžování ve světových médiích prezentováno. Hlavním cílem této práce je identifikace mediálních rámců souvisejících s pouličním obtěžováním českých zpravodajských internetových serverech. Mediální rámce byly identifikovány pomocí metody kvalitativní analýza rámců, a to ve čtyřech zpravodajských serverech vybraných na základě jejich sledovanosti, důvěryhodnosti a proklamované ideologické neutrality. Analýzu jsem tedy provedl na zpravodajských serverech Aktuálně.cz, Seznam zprávy, iDNES.cz a Parlamentní listy. V těchto sledovaných serverech jsem hledal odpovědi na výzkumné otázky: jakým způsobem a prostřednictvím kterých rámců je pouliční obtěžování rámováno ve vybraných zpravodajských serverech za sledované období a existují rozdíly v rámování tohoto tématu mezi jednotlivými zpravodajskými servery?
