Aféra lodi Lidice a její dopad na československo-francouzské vztahy

Abstract

The bachelor thesis "Freighter Lidice Affair and its Impact on Czechoslovak-French Relations" examines both the event of the affair itself and its influence on Czechoslovak French relations. The thesis is mainly devoted to the freighter Lidice affair itself, the interception of a Czechoslovak cargo ship carrying arms for the Algerian rebels. The affair is set in the context of Czechoslovak support for the FLN. The next part of the thesis deals with relations particularly in the financial field between years 1960 and 1964 and attempts to assess their development during these years. The work is also based on the period documents from the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and period newspaper articles.

Bakalářská práce "Aféra lodi Lidice a její dopad na československo-francouzské vztahy" zkoumá jednak událost samotné aféry a dále také její vliv na československo-francouzské vztahy. Práce se věnuje zejména samotné aféře lodi Lidice, zadržení československé obchodní lodi převážející zbraně pro alžírské povstalce. Aféra je zasazena do kontextu československé podpory FLN. V další části se práce věnuje vztahům zejména na poli finančním mezi lety 1960- 1964 a pokouší se zhodnotit jejich vývoj v průběhu těchto let. Práce byla vypracována také na základě dobových dokumentů z fondů Archivu ministerstva zahraničních věcí České republiky a dobových novinových článků.
