Komentovaný překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy Günter Grass. Eine Biographie (Volker Neuhaus, 2012)

Abstract

This bachelor thesis provides an annotated translation of an original German text into Czech. The translated text comprises two chapters of the book Günter Grass: Schriftsteller - Künstler - Zeitgenosse, Eine Biographie by the German author Volker Neuhaus. The book focuses on life of German writer and artist Günter Grass in relation to the German history in the 20th century. The bachelor thesis consists of the actual translation and a commentary, which contains a translation analysis describing the used translation method, shifts made during the translation process, and the ways of solving encountered translation problems.

Bakalářská práce se skládá z českého překladu německého textu a odborného komentáře. Výchozím textem byly dvě vybrané kapitoly z knihy Günter Grass: Schriftsteller - Künstler - Zeitgenosse, Eine Biographie od německého literárního vědce Volkera Neuhause. Tématem knihy je život Güntera Grasse vyprávěný na pozadí zlomových událostí německé historie v minulém století. Druhá část této práce sestává z překladatelské analýzy dle Christiane Nordové, překladatelské metody a typologie překladatelských problémů a posunů. Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit funkční český překlad spolu s odborným komentářem, který představuje překladatelův postup a konkrétní překladatelská řešení.
