Abstract

The bachelor thesis consists of translation a part of a chapter from the German book Die große Kaffee-Bibel from the representatives of the roastery Dinzler Kaffeerösterei Isolde Richter, Max Bauer and Thomas Steinke. The book focuses on coffee preparation methods, choice of the right coffee grinder and coffee machines. The comment consists of a translation analysis of the book, typology of translation problems, but also of translation shifts. All theoretical information is based on examples from both source and target texts. The aim of the thesis is not only the functional translation, but also explaining the translation solutions. Tato bakalářská práce se skládá z překladu části kapitoly z německé knihy Die große Kaffee- Bibel od zástupců firmy Dinzler Kaffeerösterei Isolde Richter, Maxe Bauera a Thomase Steinkeho. Výchozí text pojednává o druzích přípravy kávy, výběru správného mlýnku a také o espresso kávovarech. V komentáři je popsána překladatelská analýza výchozího textu, typologie překladatelských problémů i překladatelské a výrazové posuny. Všechny teoretické údaje jsou podloženy příklady z výchozího i cílového komunikátu. Cílem této práce byl nejen překlad se zachováním funkce textu, ale také vysvětlení překladatelských řešení.
